Programs designed for specific age groups:
Early Intervention
The Early Intervention services help children aged 0-3 improve their movement, thinking, and communication.
The center’s specialists will assist children:
- To improve their gross and fine motor skills;
- To move independently;
- To practice balance and coordination;
- To increase their strength, flexibility, and endurance;
- To improve their ability to suck, chew, and swallow;
- To dress, eat, and engage in other self-care activities;
- To understand words and speech;
- To play and socialize;
- To think and problem-solve.
Early intervention is focused on the brain’s ability to change and adapt, known as neuroplasticity. It is proven that the early years of life are of fundamental importance for learning and development. The early intervention program at Tony Hawks Centre will help the child reach their full potential.
